A concise account of what Construction Brief collects and why.
Newsletter information
When you request the brief or professional access, your email and selected preferences are sent to the configured email provider for delivery and subscription management. Construction Brief also receives an internal notification identifying the requested subscription list. Saved project filters are stored as email-contact metadata. A signed management link and HttpOnly browser cookie let you manage them without an account; private management pages are not cached, indexed, or measured by public analytics.
Correction reports
Correction details are retained for editorial review. Optional contact information is never displayed on public project pages.
Analytics
Public pages use Vercel Web Analytics and Google Analytics to understand site usage and page views. Google Analytics may set cookies and process browser, device, and usage data according to Google's policies. Construction Brief also records a small set of first-party product events in server logs: project views, official-source clicks, brief signups, and professional-access requests.
